The surface is then sealed with a polyester coating, carefully sanded, and polished to create a high-quality finish. These moulds are manufactured in-house and specifically optimized for our RTM\/RIM\u00a0 production processes.<\/p><p>The mould structure is built using reinforced composite laminates, combining durability with relatively low manufacturing costs. Fiberglass moulds typically support between 1,000 and 1,500 production cycles, depending on geometry, resin systems, and operating conditions. Aluminium tooling combines high dimensional stability with excellent thermal conductivity, making it especially suitable for RTM, RIM, and other closed-mould composite manufacturing processes.<\/p><p>Aluminium moulds provide long operational lifetimes with minimal maintenance requirements. Their temperature resistance and efficient heat distribution allow for faster curing cycles and compatibility with a wide range of resin systems.<\/p><p>Although the initial investment is higher compared to fiberglass moulds, aluminium tooling offers substantial advantages in production efficiency, repeatability, and durability.
