Models / Plugs

The basis for a successful mould is a ”plug”, a kind of model of the finished product. EM Fibreglass see to the initial tasks and coordination involved in the plug, which will form the basis of the finished mould.
The actual plug is based on 3D drawings of the finished product and can be constructed in various materials, depending on its purpose and function. The surfaces of most plugs are either polyester-polyurethane or epoxy-based modelling resin.
